Brewster Day Camp

From 2022-2024, I taught swim lessons and served as a lifeguard at Brewster Day Camp. Working on a swim staff of eight people, I learned to communicate constructively and effectively with my team to create a functioning, loving, and supportive team environment.

Each week, I prepared lesson plans for my swim lessons and created custom plans for campers with special needs or accommodations. Teaching such a range of swimmers taught me to be adaptive, versatile, and patient, skills I have carried into my other work.
